I've been reading Stephenie Meyers' series. I was oddly surprised at how mature it is. I was expecting it to be somewhat teeny bopper-y but it is quite mature in tone and subject matter, although sometimes I think that it is too mature for the age that it is addressed to, but then again, I thought, I think I was somewhat around that age when my own journies into adulthood began. Sometimes I tend to be condescending to my younger cousins when I speak to them, they're not kids anymore, even though I used to change their diapers when they were younger. Time is passing too quickly.
